To the Guy Who Tried to Mug Me in Downtown Savannah night before last.
Date: 2009-04-01, 3:43AM EST

I was the guy with the black Burberry jacket that you demanded I hand over shortly after you pulled the knife on me and my girlfriend. You also asked for my girlfriend’s purse and earrings.

I hope you somehow come across this message. I’d like to apologize. I didn’t expect you to crap in your pants when I drew my pistol after you took my jacket. Truth is, I was wearing the jacket for a reason that evening, and it wasn’t that cold outside.

You see, my girlfriend had just bought me that Kimber Model 1911 .45 ACP pistol for Christmas, and we had just picked up a shoulder holster for it that evening. Beautiful pistol, eh?

It’s a very intimidating weapon when pointed at your head, isn’t it? I know it probably wasn’t a great deal of fun walking back to wherever you’d come from with that brown sludge flopping about in your pants. I’m sure it was even worse since you also ended up leaving your shoes, cellphone, and wallet with me. I couldn’t have you calling up any of your buddies to come help you try to mug us again.

I took the liberty of calling your mother, or “Momma” as you had her listed in your cell, and explaining to her your situation. I also bought myself and four other people in the gas station this morning a tank full of gas on your credit card. The guy with the big motor home took 150 gallons and was extremely grateful! I gave your shoes to one of the homeless guys over by Vinnie Van GoGo’s, along with all of the cash in your wallet.

I threw the wallet in a fancy pink “pimp mobile” parked at the curb after I broke the windshield and side window out and keyed the drivers side. I called a bunch of phone sex numbers from your cellphone. They’ll be on your bill in case you’d like to know which ones. Ma Bell just shut down the line, and I’ve only had the phone for a little over a day now, so I don’t know what’s going on with that. I hope they haven’t permanently cut off your service.

I could only get in two threatening phone calls to the DA’s office and one to the FBI with it. The FBI guy was really pissed and we had a long chat (I guess while he traced the number).

I’d also like to apologize for not killing you and instead making you walk back home humiliated. I’m hoping that you’ll reconsider your choice of path in life. Next time you might not be solucky.

“Barocky Road”

barocky-road.jpg

In honor of the 44th President of the United States, Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream has introduced a new flavor: “Barocky Road.” Barocky Road is a blend of half vanilla, half chocolate, and surrounded by nuts and flakes. The vanilla portion of the mix is not openly advertised and usually denied as an ingredient. The nuts and flakes are all very bitter and hard to swallow. The cost is $100.00 per scoop. When purchased it will be presented to you in a large beautiful cone, but then the ice cream is taken away and given to the person in line behind you. You are left with an empty wallet and no change, holding an empty cone with no hope of getting any ice cream.

Fixing the Economy

Tuesday, May 12th, 2009

It’s August. In a small town on the South Coast of France the holiday season is in full swing, but it is raining so there is not too much business happening.

Everyone is heavily in debt.

Luckily, a rich Russian tourist arrives in the foyer of the small local hotel. He asks for a room and puts a €100 note on the reception counter, takes a key and goes to inspect the room located up the stairs on the third floor.

The hotel owner takes the banknote in a hurry and rushes to his meat supplier to whom he owes €100.

The butcher takes the money and races to his supplier to pay his debt.

The wholesaler rushes to the farmer to pay €100 for pigs he purchased some time ago.

The farmer triumphantly gives the €100 note to a local prostitute who had given him her services on credit.

The prostitute goes quickly to the hotel, as she was owing the hotel for her hourly room use to entertain clients.

At that moment, the rich Russian is coming down to reception. He informs the hotel owner that the proposed room is unsatisfactory. He takes back his €100 and departs.

There was no profit or income. But everyone no longer has any debt and the small towns people look optimistically towards their future.

COULD THIS BE THE SOLUTION TO THE GFC?

Social Security: How It Got Stolen

Sunday, May 3rd, 2009

Franklin Delano Roosevelt
32nd President, Democrat
Terms of Office March 4, 1933, to April 12, 1945

Franklin Delano. Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social Security (FICA) Program.  He promised:

1.) That participation in the Program would be completely voluntary,

2.) That the participants would only have to pay 1% of the first $1,400 of their annual incomes into the program,

3.) That the money the participants elected to put into the program would be deductible from their income for tax purposes each year,

4.) That the money the participants put in would go into the independent ‘Trust Fund’ rather than into the General Operating Fund, and therefore, would Only be used to fund the Social Security Retirement Program, and no other Government program, and

5.) That the annuity payments to the retirees would never be taxed as income.

GOOD TO HERE!

Since many of us who paid into FICA for years are now receiving a monthly Social Security check and are being taxed on 85% of the money we paid to the Federal government to ‘Put Away’– you may be interested in the rest of the story…

Then…

Dwight David Eisenhower
34th President, Republican.
Term Of Office: January 20, 1953 to January 20, 1961

If I recall correctly, 1958 is the first year that Congress voted to remove funds from Social Security and put it into the General Fund for Congress to spend.

If I recall correctly, it was a Democratic-Controlled Congress.

From what I understand, Congress’ logic at that time was that there was so much money in Social Security Fund that it would never run out / be used up for the purpose it was intended / set aside for.

Next…

Lyndon Baines Johnson
36th President, Democrat
Term Of Office:November 22, 1963 to January 20, 1969

Question: Which Political Party took Social Security from the Independent ‘Trust Fund’and put it into the General Fund so that Congress could spend it?

Answer: It was President Lyndon B. Johnson, Democrat, and the Democratic-controlled House and Senate.

Question: Which Political Party eliminated the income tax Deduction for Social Security (FICA) withholding?

Answer: The Democratic Party.

Worse still…

William Jefferson Clinton
(Bill Clinton)
42nd President
Democrat
Term of Office: January 20, 1993 to January 20, 2001

Albert Arnold Gore, Jr.
(Al Gore)
45th Vice President
Democrat
Term of Office: January 20, 1993 to January 20, 2001

Question: Which Political Party started taxing Social Security annuities?

Answer: The Democrat Party, with Vice President Albert Arnold Gore, Jr. (Al Gore)  casting the ‘tie-breaking’ vote as President of the Senate.

And the straw that broke the camel’s back…

James Earl Carter, Jr.
(Jimmy Carter)
39th President, Democrat
Term of Office: January 20, 1977 to January 20, 1981

Question: Which Political Party decided to start giving Social Security Annuity payments to immigrants?

Answer: That’s right! James Earl Carter, Jr. (Jimmy Carter), Democrat, and the Democrat Party.  Immigrants moved into this country, and at age 65, began to receive Social Security payments!  The Democrat Party gave these payments to them, even though they never paid a dime into the Fund!

Finally, believe it or not…

After violating the original contract (FICA), the Democrats turn around and tell you that the Republicans want to take your Social Security away!

And the worst part about it is, uninformed citizens believe it!

AND CONGRESS GIVES THEMSELVES 100% RETIREMENT FOR ONLY SERVING ONE TERM!!!

‘A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have.’
Thomas Jefferson
3rd President, Democrat
Term of Office: January 20, 1777 to January 20, 1781
